On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September 2021, from 12.00 to 21.00, the European Rice Festival will take place in the exhibition complex of Thessaloniki International Fair, at the outer space of Pavillions 10 and 13. Distinguished Chefs and representatives of the Agricultural Partnership of Thessaloniki (EASTH) and the Consejo Regulador de la DOP Arroz de Valencia (CRAV) from Spain will share with you their passion for rice, they will prepare recipes based on European rice produced in Greece and Spain, and they will inform about its quality, sustainability and safety. The European Rice Festival is held within the framework of the European program EU RICE, which is implemented by the AGRICULTURAL CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP OF THESSALONIKI (EASTH) and the CONSEJO REGULADOR DE LA DOP ARROZ DE VALENCIA (Rice Regulatory Authority consumers and producers that rice produced in Europe is a safe product, which is grown in compliance with strict European regulations. The executing body of the Program, is the company NOVACERT.
The aim of the EU RICE program is to inform the consumer public through a series of complementary promotion and information actions, in order to persuade the consumer to include in his diet the rice that is produced in Europe.
