Learn about the sustainability, safety and quality of rice cultivation and its products and taste unique recipes based on European rice produced in Greece and Spain.
Saturday 17 & Sunday 18 September 2022, 12:00 – 21:00 inside the TIF exhibition complex and between stands 10 and 13 outside.
Distinguished chefs as well as representatives of EASTH and CRAV from Greece and Spain will be happy to share with you their passion for this everyone’s favorite product, rice.
The Rice Festival takes place within the framework of the European program EU RICE, which is implemented by AGROTIKI ETERIKIKI SPARTRAXI THESSALONIKI (EASTH) and the CONSEJO REGULADOR DE LA DOP ARROZ DE VALENCIA (Regulatory Authority of PDO Valencia rice) with the aim of raising awareness and informing consumers and producers that the rice produced in Europe is a safe product, which is grown in compliance with strict European Regulations. The organization implementing the Program is the company NOVACERT.
The aim of the EU RICE program is to inform the consumer public through a series
complementary promotion and information actions, in order to convince the consumer to include rice produced in Europe in his diet.
