On July 1 and 2, 2025, an educational trip took place in Albufera with the aim of informing journalists and opinion leaders about sustainable rice cultivation. Participants had the opportunity to explore a distinctive agro-ecosystem, where agricultural production is harmoniously combined with the protection of biodiversity and water resources.
Through visits to rice fields, expert presentations, and open discussions with producers, modern cultivation practices were showcased that reduce environmental impact, enhance efficiency, and ensure the quality of the final product. The trip proved to be a valuable experience of knowledge exchange and dialogue, highlighting the crucial role of responsible agriculture in shaping a more sustainable agri-food future.
