From 14 to 17 July, a special educational trip took place in Thessaloniki within the framework of the EURICE programme, with the participation of three popular influencers from Spain. The aim of the initiative was to get to know the world of sustainable rice farming through an experience that combined knowledge, culture and environmental sensitivity.
Participants had the opportunity to visit rice farms in the region, learn about modern production techniques and understand the challenges faced by farmers. At the same time, they talked to local producers, who shared their experience and commitment to sustainability and product quality.
The trip helped to promote European rice nationally and internationally, highlighting the multiple benefits of sustainable agriculture to the general public.
