Highlights from the Cooking Masterclass with Rice Ambassador, Dina Nikolaou, in Thessaloniki

On Wednesday, March 18, 2026, a gastronomic event was successfully held at Bakal venue in Thessaloniki, in collaboration with the Agricultural Partnership of Thessaloniki (EASTH) and the Consejo Regulador de la DOP Arroz de Valencia (CRAV). The event, lasting approximately three hours, attracted professionals from the field and enthusiasts of creative cuisine, offering a unique opportunity to showcase modern gastronomic trends and exchange experiences.

As part of the event, Rice Ambassador Dina Nikolaou presented creative dishes based on Greek medium-grain rice, highlighting its potential through contemporary techniques and balanced flavor combinations. Attendees had the opportunity to observe the process, interact, and taste distinctive flavors, while also being informed about the principles of sustainable rice cultivation, the importance of biodiversity protection, the reduction of environmental impact, and the contribution of responsible production to the preservation of natural resources.

The event concluded in a particularly positive and interactive atmosphere, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between Greece and Spain and highlighting rice as a key element of Mediterranean gastronomic culture.
