On Thursday, March 19, 2026, a Cooking Masterclass was successfully held at Strada restaurant in Kozani, in collaboration with the Agricultural Partnership of Thessaloniki (EASTH) and the Consejo Regulador de la DOP Arroz de Valencia (CRAV). The event, lasting approximately three hours, brought together food service professionals and gastronomy enthusiasts, offering a complete experience of knowledge and taste.
As part of the Masterclass, Rice Ambassador Dina Nikolaou presented creative dishes based on medium-grain rice, highlighting its versatility and potential through modern techniques and balanced combinations. Participants had the opportunity to follow the process step by step, interact, and taste the dishes prepared.
At the same time, key messages about sustainable rice cultivation were presented, focusing on biodiversity protection, reducing environmental impact, and the importance of responsible production for preserving natural resources.
The event concluded in a highly positive atmosphere, confirming the strong collaboration between Greece and Spain and highlighting rice as a key element of modern Mediterranean gastronomy.
