In the unique space of the Thea Thalassa restaurant, in Alexandroupolis, a unique seminar was successfully held to present the sustainable aspect of the cultivation of Greek mesosperm rice, Ronaldo variety, within the framework of the EU RICE program, on Tuesday 12/12/2023.
The guests, representatives of agencies, professional organizations,
catering, hospitality, media and journalists were informed about rice, produced in Europe, a product of high nutritional value, rich in nutrients and safe, since it is grown in compliance with the strict European Regulations for agricultural production.
The event was organized as part of the European program entitled “Actions to Inform and Promote Sustainable Rice Production in Greece and Spain”. The program with the distinctive title EU RICE,
implemented by the Agricultural Partnership of Thessaloniki (ΕΑΣΥ) and the Consejo Regulador de la DOP Arroz de Valencia (PDO Valencia Rice Regulatory Authority).
The executive body of the program in Greece is NOVACERT, the largest consulting and certification company,
with specialization in the agri-environment sector and the food sector. Promotion and information events in Greece are organized by the company Chef Stories.
